Alex is a complicated, difficult to pin down character. He appears as a 29 yr old Caucasian male standing at 5'10", with silvery-blue eyes, and what is likely dark-brown slightly curly hair--if he ever took off his hood. He appears pale, with faintish shadows under his eyes--although that might be lighting. Stockily built, he's dressed in jeans, black shoes, and a white-button-up shirt open at the throat, a grey-hoodie partially zipped up, and a leather jacket over that with a red-tribal dragon design on the back, and white stripes on the arms.

He's a very cold, calculating, and predatory person. Not given to grand speeches or long conversations, unless you pique his interest. Alex was borderline sociopathic, and doesn't really care. He's been gaining a small, under-developed conscience, given what he's had to deal with in the viral outbreak in Manhattan.

He's the former head-researcher of the Blacklight project at Gentek, a complicated company in its own right. Alex is borderline sociopathic, and doesn't really care. He has a doctorate in genetics from Columbia University, and has gained copious amounts of military and black-ops training more recently.

He has one relative, a sister---Dana Mercer.
